Sparrowhawk

By Andysnapper
Morning,

I think I've been spotted.....Not a great shot but the closest I've ever been to a Sprawk in the wild, I had to move very slowly to swing the camera around to get the shot but I only had about 5 seconds before she saw me and flew off.

Cheers

Andy

A terrific opportunistic capture, the eye contact is excellent

That's the most mellow-eyed sparrowhawk I've ever seen - great capture!
Their eyes normally look a lot more intense than this.
Must've just eaten a pigeon Smile

Get the odd one in the garden from time to time, I've never been quick enough to capture it, so this gets a big vote from me despite it's flaws....
