Spear Fishing

By Gezina
Thank you for c'c on Mrs Black Crake - much appreciated.
Not ideal to shoot top down but as we were standing on a bridge with a fast flowing river below and many crocodiles visible and active I thought I'll stay up there - got a series of shots of this Little Egret hunting successfully, only being disturbed by the Large White Egret and Grey Heron at times, they must have thought he/she has got the best fishing spot Wink - Ina

Beautifully detailed pin sharp capture Ina. Exposed to perfection - love that warm rich light and the minute water droplets dripping from the little fish.

Haha they're all in the pubs along the bank Wink
Seriously now as you scared the birds away ringing me mid shot today at the feed station.
Terrific detail and exposure and always a bonus with food
