A fine set, Ian. A long departed friend of mine had one of these for years and would never change it for another make.

lovely classic car, known affectionally as the woody wagon and once described by Edna Everage as "a half timbered car".

Lovely set of images but it's actually a Morris Minor Traveller the van had no side windows, my uncle had one that we went camping with when I was a young kid.

That is an old vehicle. Probably worth a bob or two. Great to see colour version as well as mono. Debs

Great capture. We had one of these many years ago, it was very reliable and took four of us camping in Europe. no trouble at all.

Great to see this car, it brings back memories. My Father had one of these many years ago SKD 35 was the UK Registration. I use to love sitting in the back. Mono shines for me!

Debs drove one for many years, even passed her test in one, finally had to retire her as daily use on our roads was becoming hazardous, heater, wiper, lights etc.
When she sold it, she got exactly 4 times what she had originally paid for it 20 years before. We now see it at Car Shows and Steam Rallies, looks straight out of the factory.
Her breakdown kit included:- I pair ladies stockings, a roll of duct tape and 1/2 dozen safety pins In the October 1987 Hurricane I saw a picture of a Traveller that a Massive Tree had fallen right on top of, and the driver walked awat unhurt, the body was so strong.
If you ever get a chance, Ian, ask to look under the bonnet. BMC A series engine, 805 cc.

I hope the termites don't get to it, those wooden bits are structural, not just decorative, as a friend of mine found out when his car failed its MOT, took a fair wodge of money to fix it. Certainly looks tidy and well maintained, good to see, thanks for posting.
