Spectacle E'e Falls

By DeeJayNeilson
I took a range of images, personally I like the composition in this one, its more abstract than the rest. I took this image with a Hoya Pro ND 1000 (10 stop) filter. This was the first time trying out the filter. Any critique is welcome and will be taken positively as its still a learning curve for me. I will upload another in the next few days of the falls itself.

Nice exposure and colour. Would have cloned out the highlights at the top, as it draws your eye. Hope you don't mind me saying.

Good to experiment. Better if you had focused on the centre rock than the near one, you would have obtained a much better depth of field, as would using f/11 - f/16 as an example.

I would crop tighter, and in the mod its done, and the further away rocks have been sharpened.

Interesting colour to the 'white' water... But the rest of the palette seems right, so I assume the water was carrying a lot of sediment...

The sunlit background (and not just the sky) seems a little at odds with the rest, and I wonder about compositions that exclude it. The inclusion of swaying trees is interesting, though, and it might be interesting to explore views and angles that include both.
