Speed of Light Trails

By AngelaSeager
My first attempt at long exposure and using a tripod, at the NVA Speed of Light Festival in Salford Quays in March 2013. If anyone was watching me that night in the blustering wind, it was just like a sketch out of Faulty Towers. I was running around 5 different locations with tripod legs splaying and camera twirling on the tripod, whilst trying to capture the 400 runners in specially commissioned LED light suits creating beautiful, choreographed patterns of light flowing through streets, over bridges and around public spaces and buildings watched on by Volunteer Guides.
