This is a delightful viewpoint looking toward the Cairngorms across the Spey valley. Never-the-less my camera was fairly smoking when I saw the golden sunlight backlighting the rising mists. The whole show was over in a matter of minutes. I have waited in vain for a repeat performance.
A fleet of responses for a well deserved EC - this one grabs you right away and has an almost acidic, yet nevertheless beautiful dominant colour of golden yellow balanced by the blue tones to compliment and green and rust tinges all coming together. Excellent.

This is an amazing image and well deseving of the EC award. I missed this first time around as I was up in Glencoe at the time it was posted and was many pages back by the time I got back. My bad luck.

All of the above but just can't decided whether I like seeing the telegraph pole/s. The fact it is coming up through the mist tips me onto the 'yes' it photo is better with it.
