A wonderful creation, Pauline. Very very hot here, but I'm not complaining, after that horrid winter we had Smile Carol

A stunning piece of work, clearly well thought out, and clearly very talented.

Hi Paree
Well I am not sure...along time ago my husband was on a job (electrical) digging up a coal siding at a railway station..I think it was originally a victorian rubish tip at one time...& this was where it was found along with some old bottles etc & some bones..the job was stopped at the time so as they could test the bones which we think turned out to be a Donkey...we must have had it around 30 odd years or more...Our guess is a foot from furniture or a walking cane top....what do think... have you any other ideas...
Best Wishes
Pauline.

well if it is complete with the ball and the ball is glass,
i have no idea at all,
because the only thing i first thought of is
that it was a really old solar light that had gone rusty.

but i love the story you tell, it makes it very special, and if it was mine i would be longing to know what it was

just looking again i am now wondering if it part of a pestle and mortar. ?as it is obviously old and durable

be sure to let me know if you find out,

you could take a few photos of it and upload it as (do you know what i am..)
