Hi Rebecca, welcome to EPZ! Smile

This is a gorgeous shot to start off your portfolio with. I love the colours and the light you've used, it makes a wonderful image.

After you've resized your image for upload, don't forget to slightly sharpen it (that's something I forget to do sometimes) it does make a difference! Smile

I hope you enjoy your time here, any problems don't be afraid to ask.

I use Photoshop Elements 9 - Going into 'Edit > Quick Mode' gives the option of using a slide to gently sharpen any images.

There are free programmes you can download from the internet (with permission) - Gimp is one. With Gimp you go to 'Filters > Enhance > Sharpen'. Always be careful when sharpening, if you over sharpen your image can become noisy! Smile
Thank you
