A spirograph-type image. This is an abstract image based on a light painting image of a multi coloured illuminated rope being swung in the dark. This, and the original shot, was taken in 2014.
A spirograth was the name of a 1970s drawing toy that could made some interesting patterns, using plastic cogs, if you didn't rush.
This has been created by duplicating my original image 5 times, flipping each duplicate layer by 60 degrees and changing the blending mode to Lighten. The image was then colour inverted.
