A lovely image of a type I have never seen before. It presents a flattering view of the Spitfire seconds before touching down. Sharpness and detail are spot on and the prop blur is nicely captured. As regards suggestions could it do with just a little tweak to 'straighten' the image? The runway seems to be running downhill a little (not unusual!) and the buildings to left and centre appear to have a slight lean. I only mention this because I've had the same problem on the few occasions when I have been lucky enough to photograph planes as they land; I have a Canon 70D and it's viewfinder spirit level isn't the most helpful! These can be difficult shots to capture well and I think this is a cracker! Thanks for uploading this - it's made my day!! Smile

Great landing image, with your S/S of 1/200sec you have blurred the prop blades well
Sometimes the pilot cuts the engine early before landing & the blades are almost static prior to landing

Just the right amount of blur, and perfect panning. An unusual angle, so a particularly noteworthy picture, Chris.
