Spitfire MkV B

By TornadoTys
Another image of an iconic warbird, which I hope brings a little joy to people in these dark difficult times.

This Mk.V Spitfire is one of the most credited historic aircraft left anywhere in the world with an impressive SEVEN confirmed kills. EP120 was built at the Castle Bromwich factory
MkV B was the first production version of the Spitfire to use clipped wingtips as an option, reducing the wingspan to 32 ft 2 in (9.8 m). The clipped wings increased the roll rate and airspeed at lower altitudes

This image was taken at Battle of Britain air show at Duxford a few years ago.
