Spitting image

I here its coming back! When it started it was quite amusing but towards the end it lost its edge imho. Saw this at an exhibition on Roger Law in the Sainsbury's centre in 2018, outstanding images of his work and some of his ceramic work - wish I'd taken more images.

They had an Trump puppet in the exhibition - the only one behind glass ...

Used to love that cutting-edge programme when it was first aired. As you say, it was somewhat toned down with the passage of time, and lost some of its appeal.
A return would be welcome...
The cabinet meeting sketch, with a leather-clad Norman Tebbit comes to mind...Smile

A smashing set and would love to see S.I. return.

Yes, like Malc I recall the satirical joy of seeing Norman Tebbit portrayed as 'The Chingford Strangler' and Margaret Thatcher responding to the waitress's question, "...and what about the vegetables?" / "Oh they'll have what I'm having." I have heard that it's returning to our screens in the not too distant future; if so I wonder what they'll find to satirise? WinkWinkWink SmileSmileSmile

I doubt it is going to patch on the originals
