"Splash of Yellow"

By RonnieAG
I don't know if any others find photographing daffodils as difficult as I do, but this one of the best I can offer from a brief visit to another of our Glasgow parks this morning........Maxwell Park.
One member mentioned that we were lucky in having so many parks in Glasgow, and in fact Glasgow is well named as it means "Dear Green Place".

My thanks to all who commented on Crocuses and with special thanks to Keith (Niknut) for his User Award.

Too many planes for a good close up of a daffodil, but as you have done, your image speaks of spring joys! and is very well accomplished!

Without looking down on them, the hard bit I find is getting down to their level...and getting back up again! There's nothing wrong with this Ronnie, and as with your crocuses the cluster in the foreground help give good depth to the scene 👍

It's another lovely park scene Ronnie - I like the composition.
I agree with Trev because they grow in clumps and very sporadically spaced its very difficult
To compose a shot of the all with out getting down and very dirty .

This is a lovely image I like the fact the daffodils are in the foreground after all they the harbinger of Spring.

A beautiful park.
Cities can be blessed with nicer places to walk than many towns/villages I think.
That's a lovely p.o.v. with the daffs dominating.

I agree with you I also find them difficult to photograph, but this one is a beauty
