Spot the Dog

By Nettles
I haven't been around too much this week as there have been numerous visits to the vets, some of them a 2 hour drive away.
I was told that my darling little dog had to have a biopsy for a small lump on her face and that the vet thought she had a detached retina and may go blind, as well as a broken nose.
Several xrays, investigations and 1 hour with a specialist animal opthalmologist I am very happy to say she has pretty well got the all clear, apart from a slight infection in one eye that can be cleared and the broken nose which has already healed, and the lump turned out to be part of that problem.
So as a treat for being so good for the vets I took her to the Dalby Forest today, the sun was shining, the birds singing and the clouds over our heads were lifted.
We walked off the beaten track, can you spot her in the undergrowth?

A special thankyou to Marilyn, David and Don for their wonderful support through this horrible week. I couldn't have got by without them.
I will try and catch up as best I can, dodgy computer permitting.

i am so glad to know that the all clear has been received and you got the chance to get out in the fresh air for a walk. Looks like god was looking down on you to bless you with that weather while all around the rest of the country it continues to rain or be overcast. As they say the sun always shines on the righteous

Excellent Annette, the dog on the path was easy to spot, but the untame gander was much harder to find. Cute shot #2 and glad to hear she's going to be ok

Brilliant story Netty, glad everything worked out. I want to tell you a story to cheer you up.

Our friend went to the Post Office to get a dog licence.
She asked "Is this where I can buy a licence for my dog?"
"Yes", said the person behind the counter and started to fill in the form.
"Name?", said the person behind the counter.
"Spot" she said.
"No" said the person behind the counter.
"Yes it is" said our friend.
"No said the person behind the counter, " Can I have your name please.
"Well why didn't you ask?", said our friend.

Good luck.

Good name for a dog that..... spot!
I was telling my friend about the time I very sadly had to have my dear dog put down. "Was he mad?", my friend asked.
