Spotted Dikkop plus chick

A Spotted Dikkop plus chick spotted while Mo and I were walking. (Burhinus capensis). The bird was sitting doggo, in the veldt, and on the nest, about 40 meters where we were making our way down the road. This was the third day we saw it, and, luckily for us, the chick was clearly visible ! It looks as though his mother had given him a "Basin haircut", and looks extremely comical ! Again, Mo was instrumental in getting the shot, being the spotter, as well as the camera bearer.
