Spotters

By paulbroad
A group of bird watchers on the end of the pier at Bridlington. Taken while I wandered, waiting for the better half, who was shopping - as usual. Decided to keep them small with a lot of sea and sky. Sun just out of image and very bright.

EOS 40D with 70/300 IS Canon at f8 on aperture priority. -1 stop compensation. ISO100. Shutter speed - high. Lens resting on handrail for support.

A wonderful composition, I like the whole scene immensely.

Needs a slight CCW rotation Paul. Like the scene, and the pole anchors the shot nicely.

Good one. Works well for me. I do like this type of image with sun on water. You could clone out two people leaving just the one with the tripod.
Having been brought up in Brid only two things surprise me, that there were any interesting birds to watch or interesting shops to grab your wife.
All the Best

I like the color and the content, but as Willie said needs ccw rotation.
