Spring Bouquet

By HobbitDave
A quickie series of pictures takens today. Time has been pretty limited for EPZ recently but as always I do appreicate friends looking and any comments.
The Forsythia in V's 1 and 2 was completely covered in brambles and overgrown Laurel hedge two years ago. After a year of sunlight (after maybe 10 years of being completely submerged?) this year it is very beautiful.
The Camelia is in bud and just about to explode, and is a picture for MoiraL EPZ-er, as I was thinking of Queen's 'Don't stop me now' song for some reason when I saw it Wink
The small blue flower is Siberian Squill, which seems to be able to handle any temperatures and comes out very soon after snowdrops. Very Siberian. I hope these are nice Spring 'feelgood' images.

Best to everyone,
Dave.

Hi Christina, and thanks for the kind comments. v.5 is our wild Primrose on this side of The Pond, always nice to see in early Spring.

Do you know what I love best about EP.... it is seeing the little glimpses of other member's lives, gardens, homes, outings, interests, loved ones etc., etc.

Lovely set of images Dave - sounds daft, but they make my heart sing. I know what I mean even if you don't

You put it far better than I could, Sue, and I fully agree. They're like little magical windows into places, people and events etc.
They have the same effect on me. It does ones heart good to sing Wink

An absolutely beautiful set of shots Dave. I do love the Siberian Squill. Will have to see if I can get some for my garden, they are gorgeous wee flowers. Thanks for the camellia shot, in fact Queen in my favourite band, although my favourite song is 'I want to break free' Wink. I had a camellia once but it didn't survive, greenfingers is not one of my talents Sad. Moira

Terrific images Dave, especially love the primrose, so typical of Spring here in the West. Well done and thanks for sending the link, Julie.
