Fantastic detail in this macro Fran . If you had taken it yesterday it would have looked VERY bedraggled I'm sure. Love it , not seen one in such close up that looked better xx

Had a wonderful day yesterday . Didn't feel like going far . My chest is still VERY wheezy . The wind , hail, snow wouldn't have done me any good . Matt cooked me delicious braised Venison ala Delia and then I watched him make Sultana scones for tea. !! I trained him well LOL xxx

Thanks Mavis, glad you like it! It was taken on the 10th so I missed the bad weather.

Hope you are soon on the mend, and keep yourself well wrapped up!!Sounds like you were rightly spoiled yesterday, and a good day was had.

Take care,

Fran

Wow, what fantastic detail!
Your choice of border colours really enhance the photo too. Nicely done.

stunning detail, a great image, my only critism is the border is too much, it seems to overwhelm the image, but thats just my personal taste.

I like the way you have got most of the different parts of the growth into the image and, in some ways, it looks a bit crowded, but I like that aspect.

Thanks once again to all for your comments. Much appreciate it.

Pam, that was my aim when I took the shot, to get the fluffy, half open and open, all in the one shot. Hope I haven,t over done it?

Regards to all,

Fran

This is a blemmer; the detail and hues of natural colours excel.
