Spring in the Dales

By Paulbee
Springtime in the Yorkshire Dales.
This picture is taken on the Craven Fault. The land to the left is limestone country with limestone dry walls, alkaline soil and dry firm grasses. To the right the land is acid soil with boggy land and gritstone dry walls. (Am I boring you ?)

Lovely photo and nice to read the description. I like the way you've filled the frame.

Great shot Paul. Makes you want to follow the road beyond the border of your image. Good description of the land types too and very clear to see in the image.
thanks for the kind words on my PF. It's high praise indeed coming from one with such experience. I continue to strive towards the standards set by yourself and others alike.

Lovely composition and interesting information. I like particularly the rich greens and echoing rhythms.
