I like the colours. Would have preferred to see the stem in focus too, as the flower heads almost appear to be floating in mid-air.

The bluebells are just coming out over here in Oxfordshire.

Hi Pete, I like the composition here, it's simple and effective. Good use of colour with the green contrasting against the flower. For me I would liked to have seen slightly larger DOF, maybe just one stop to F4. Also the small blade of grass in the bottom right seems to be fairly sharply in focus which is slightly distracting. Sorry didn't mean to sound too negative, I like the photo. Did you take any of this scene with your 70-200?

I know how hard it is to get these shots, so I really admire this. Love the strength of the blue here.
