Now this is outstanding, Mark! the proportions of land, sea and sky feel right, the lead in is excellent and exciting while the smoothed sea very effectively contrasts the stark groynes and textured beach. I agree about using long exposures for this type of image, without it, the groynes might get lost in the waves and the image would lose it's impact. Being picky, I might have been tempted to clone out the blurred shipping to enhance the minimalist appeal. Never the less this is an outstanding image and my favourite of all your recent uploads. 
Mark, great lines mate and a well thought out comp......love the way the water and beach have spit here a nice place to return to over the winter I think. Very pleased for you with last few uploads. I can see a difference in tone from the new kit.....looking forward to those winter seascapes, well done mate.

I agree entirely with Al. A superb shot, great comp and the LE works perfectly. I particularly like the way the 2 lines of groynes intercept and then the main groyne follows the line of the horizon. Excellent.
