Sihk bagpipers lead a parade at The Kuala Lumpur Traditional market, where the different cultures of Malaysia met and coalesced. Sihks were originally soldiers and policemen brought in by The British. They were fierce, but scrupulously honest. Once, virtually invisible in Malaysian society, now starting to reassert their identity.
