I think colour is just ahead for me, Ian. Having been in that church many years ago for a memorial service, I know how impressive it can be.

Definitely the mono version for me. I like the high contrast and the interesting angle chosen, with a nice lead through the image to the window and starburst. Not an easy subject with the high contrast making controlling the light difficult

Dark grungy lead image giving a sinister feel which is right up my street. The square format is perfect for the composition. The colour version is also appealing and shows the textures in the seating very well.

Really struggling to choose - they're both excellent. The colour has a wonderful, rich warmth, whereas the mono perhaps has more drama. That sun star is superb. Has to be an award.

An excellent b&w / mono image and a splendid colour version, the b&w gets it for me the composition (the leading lines to the star burst) and the processing 😊
