I was intrigued when I saw this statue by the fact that the Saint held bread buns in a basket in his left hand, and a single bun in the right hand.

I took this shot focusing on the bread and using a wide-angle on purpose to put the bread and the eyes on a third. I like the effect this created, as it highlights the most particular and "unique" aspect of the statue. I hope it works and leaves enough of an impact to entice your interest!

Could work better in B&W so I'll upload a BW version later too.
