St Cuthbert's Cross, Alnmouth

Back home after a lovely break exploring the beautiful coast of Northumberland, will try and do a bit of catching up tomorrow.

A few images from Alnmouth where the Cross of St Cuthbert stands on the hill overlooking the lovely town, the site of the cross is said to be the location where St Cuthbert agreed to become Bishop of Lindisfarne when petitioned by the King.
