St Edwards

By whipspeed
Yew trees at St Edwards church in Stowe-on-the-Wold. Saw a picture of these in a book of Englands finest trees, and as we were passing Stowe on the way to Westonbirt, to see more trees, it seemed a good idea to stop. They really are amazing, growing right up against the church walls & if anyone is passing that way, well worth a look.

Any comments & criticism welcome as always, I know everything isn't straight, but in this case, neither was the church.

Looks like an illustration in a childs Story book. It has a lovely quaint atmosphere.

Lovely shot and I am sure you were right on. Sometimes something in the shot will give the illusion of being a bit off center. If you tweek it just a hair to counter the illusion....
