St Ethelbert's Church, Thurton

By pdunstan_Greymoon
Since things are starting to open up again I am still trying to isolate, but have set a challenge to go and see as many of the numerous churches in the Norwich area.
I found this one particularly interesting because I have never seen a church with rendered walls and thatched roof quite like this.
This one is only about 8 miles from Norwich.
Attached are two black and white versions.

A great view of a lovely and unusual church.
I prefer the mono V1 to the lead as the green grass is a bit strong in the colour version, in the mono the church stands out more. (a slight desaturation and darkening of the grass might improve the colour version)
Compositionaly both versions work well; you have the path on the left leading to the church door, balanced by a less obvious lead-in from the war memorial with the trees and gravestones, the trees on each side and even the clouds frame the view nicely.
