St FIllans

By FionaB
Built about 850 years ago, a good portion of this church is the original building, it was restored in 1926 and is used every Sunday, I bit like Roslyn Chapel in that it is a tiny place from the outside but once you step in it makes you feel as if you are sunken into the ground and you feel like you have walked into a much larger church. I beautful but simple building with a lovely atmosphere.
I used a mix of processing including HDR as it was the only way i could bring out the shadow detail in the walls and roof. plese excuse the lines that are off, it was shot with a 10-22 mm and i challenge anyone to give me an 850 yr old building with every line straight Smile
