St Georges Hall

I organised a day of photography in Liverpool (Beween Christmas and New Year) inviting a number of friends from Wallasey Amateur Photographic Society.

We had a fine weather and all 10 of us had a great afternoon of photography ending in some twilight photography around Lime Street, St George's Hall, The Empire Theatre and The Walker Art Gallery, Fountain and Museum.

This was my finest effort of the day.

F8, 1.6 seconds, ISO 100, Tripod Used with self timer to avoid camera shake.

I've taken quite a few twilight shots sine September 2008 (as our club held a twilight compeition in January 2009) so feel free to look at my Photo Album entitled "The Twilight Zone" in my portfolio for more night shots like this one.

Hi Sandy,

Yes it is! Wallasey APS certainly is the place to be if you live in the Wirral area. We have a portrait group, beginners group, AV group, digital tuition group. We also go away for days out (at least once a month) weekends away twice a year and our club has a bar, a very friendly club we are too! Ages range from 17-88! Everyone welcome (apart from serial killers of course, nasty people they are, membership depleats rapidly when they join!)

Actually Steve, I'm a Cereal Killer, every morning I say to myself, I could murder a bowl of Weetabix! (Cereal Killer! Do you get it!)
