St Pancras Station

By tony64
I love this view of the very impressive, newly opened St Pancras Station. So I went back to take a better view. Like many London landmarks, photography is not allowed here. I've so far only tried using a compact so as not to attract too much attention!
This is therefore a second upload from this view and slightly sharper and more interesting than the first one!
I'm going back with the DSLR soon!

Facing away from John Betjeman - this is the view I tend to turn my back on! It's a nicely balanced off-centre composition, the columns on the left just holding the sweep of the roof down.
I'm hoping to spend some time there when we come down, there doesn't seem to be any objection to photographing the sculpture.

Sculptures of dead poets are o.k. but transport hubs are a no-no....
There is a diagonal balance in this that works really well - the concourse on the left and the roof vault on the right.

Another cracker. How have I missed all of these? The framing, colour, movement of people etc.

Keep up the excellent work.
