St Paul's on a cold winters day

By salja03
S shot of St Pauls in london on the way home from work. Taken f11 @ 1/80 using a 10-20mm Sigma Ultra wide angle, and added a 'cold' effect using the white balance set to Tungsten (I have shots in warmer colours, but really liked the cold feel it gave the building). No didgital adjustment yet at all, but am very open to suggestions.. (btw I kinda like the way the other building kind of leans into the picture, almost in homage...)

Good angles in this, like you I like the cool feel to it, the only thing I'd work on is to bring the forground out a bit.

First of all welcome to epz and thanks for your kind comments. Nice first upload and I agree with Luke the blue hue to picture works nicely. Well worth thinking about e2 membership,it gives you a lots more scope to work on details and enable other members to get a better look at your shots, good luck and I'm sure you will enjoy the site and all the great people who visit it, merry christmas.

I will say this about photography or indeed any visual art, if it pleases you then that is the main hurdle, if others like it then that is a bonus.
The shot is a very bold attempt for your fist entery on EPZ but it works.
Well done.

Very cool shot. The lens make the building look 3dim.
