A view of the dome of St Peter's, taken from the roof of the basilica after we had been up to the top of the dome.
The views from the top were wonderful and worth every one of the 320 steps we had to climb to get there. V2 is the classic view looking down to St Peter's square and then out to the Tiber - I'm sure you'll all have seen this shot a thousand times, but it just has to be done . V4 shows a rear view of the statues of Jesus Christ and his disciples which border the roof of the basilica in front of the dome.
