The lighting is so very well controlled imho Phil, it would be easy to get blown highlights all over on an image such as this.
And I love the composition with the diamond crossover and rails leading away.

Hi Daryl, many thanks for your comments, I dont usually shoot in manual mode, normaly Aperture priority but I needed to control the light so went for manual. It is indeed the Midland Hotel, Mcr has changed massively over the years, its got a real buzz of an evening . All the best Phil
