this is a very stylish shot, I might have tried to change my angle to try to get the two posts a little closer together as there seems to be more "weight" on the right hand side of the shot, well done nevertheless.... it's a very classy image.

This is quite an ambitious shot to pull off successfully - so well done for trying. I agree with Helen that the comp needs to be tighter - or the far fencepost needs to be sharper.

Agree with other posters, I would like to see a greater DOF on the front post so you get the texture of the rope.

We all seem to be in agreement here- it's a powerful subject and a good subject for DOF and selective focus - it's just the level of it that's subjective. I'd personally like to see more sharpness in the rope, but the far post not to be quite as blurred - it looks to much like motion blur the way it is at the moment, (though i know it's not.

I'd also be tempted to sewwp the burn brush across the sky a few times just bring out a bit more detail in it
