Bad luck getting such wonderful light to contend with, a superb view of Stac Polladh rarely seen from this angle. Very special indeed.

Did you use a grad at all, or was metering off of the clouds what gave you your exposure here?

Hi Michael, I didn't need to use any grads as I wanted create a silhouette basically - which meant metering off the sky. I took the reading from the very top of the centre of the frame and bracketed around that. Hope this helps,
