As soon as I saw the first frame, I recognised that distinctive...English Heritage oak joinery...

I live extremely close to the Castle, so watched that staircase being installed ...circa mid 1970s ish....it has all worn and weathered very well considering it is exposed to the elements and to thousands of visitors yearly.

Great shots, of great interest to me.
