Stairway to heaven?

This started out as a really grungy stairwell seen in Basingstoke on a night shoot a few weeks back. Does this manipulation reveal its inner 'beauty'?

I like the effect you've used in this image. It definitely adds a slightly haunting atmosphere. There's also a very surreal mood to this image. This is inventive Artwork.
