Staithes Panorama

By TrevBatWCC
Something different for Sunday. I do rather like panoramas, and when I can remember to plan to do it at the time, will shoot 3, 4 or 5 images usually to create one. This was created from 5 images, which were taken from the far side of the harbour at Staithes and shows the whole of the harbour front.

Must be viewed large if you have the time!

Each image shot on manual and hand-held at: 1/100 sec, F11, 30mm, ISO 100
Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Elements 6, with some assistance from Topaz Adjust.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

I am enjoying your photos from Staithes. Despite numerous visits over the years I have never crossed to the south side of the harbour - and it's not really far! You have produced a very enjoyable and successful panorama from a well-chosen viewpoint, evenly lit and with no hint of stitching that I can discern. Excellent presentation too!
Regards
Bill

This is just marvellous, Trev. Must be seen large of course but the effect of the stitching is superb to give this seamless panorama showing off the front at Staithes so beautifully. A lovely bit of processing and so worth while.

Trev, I am stunned! This is amazing! All the books say to get the perfect pano shot you must use a tripod, but you managed this hand held! I am in awe of your "stitching", I cannot see a join at all, and the whole composition is amazing. Really well done, and I just HAD to give you my User Award for this week for all the hard work I know went into this. Well done indeed!

This is wonderful Trevor and one of your very best - and to think all hand-held - obviously you haven't been in the wine.

Large is a must.
