I don't usually go for creative stuff with landscapes, preferring the natural beauty of the scene as I see it. However this was a particularly grim day and we only went out to have a break and a breath of fresh air. The rain was relentless and I had given up with the SLR when I caught a glimpse of the castle framed by the last remaining rosehips so took a few shots with my little compact. This was one of the few images where I didn't get raindrops on the lens and I played around in Colour Efex Pro to get something a little more interesting and colourful. From my Glencoe workshop with Colin Prior.
