stalking!

By Lillian
This is Athena..battle scars and all a rather 'charming Jaguar'
she has suffered a broken jaw and as for the ears..chewed to bits, as she is a real fighter
hates other cats and people.. but that is part of her charm

know V2 is probably a better image...but I wanted to show off her character and let you see her scars
hand held

do believe she was one of Lynne Joyce's favourite's from there Grin

V2 a decorated with grass seed Athena...but yes, still stalking!

Enjoy your weekend, I am off spending with family today

Lillian

Brilliant captures of the cat I remember most vividly from my visit. You have got her personality perfectly in these two fine shots.

Lovely images Lillian, like both,
Fred.
You have framed this jaguar perfectly. I love the clarity in the eyes, and everything important in the photograph has excellent detail. Very well done! The only thing I am disappointed about is, I cannot vote on it. Sad If you allowed voting, I would have.Smile

Regarding which version I like better - The first one. The camera angle is better, in my opinion, but they are both excellent photographs.

Marty.

OMG! She is just beautiful Lillian. A stunning capture. Battered or not she is awesome and what a pose.
They have 2 at Chester zoo, a black one like this and a normal coloured one, I always thought it was a panther or puma until I saw the markings on the fur when the sun shone on it.

Love, love it Lillian. You lucky lady GrinGrin
Have a lovely time with family!

What a fine big cat and two great shots, Lillian: although you favour V 2, I feel more drawn to V 1 myself.
You have captured the stalking posture so well.

Two wonderful shots Lillian, she has been in the wars, a broken tooth half an ear too. I seen a short video of one of these not long ago, where a Jaguar attacked an alligator and grabbed it by the neck and carried it off with ease, and it wasn't a small Aligator either, very powerful big cat
