Thanks, Martin. I'd happily live there, after a little renovation. As you say, what a view to wake up to every morning. Smile

Thought the view looked familiar. I was driving along the very same road back in October...

The barn makes great FG interest and the serried ridges add loads of depth.

Wow now that's a scene, the clarity and contrast in the mid tones is amazing throughout and the colours look beautifully natural, a lovely scene which makes you want to be there

Hmmmm, stunning backdrop Ian ,well exposed as usual ,but i feel the field in foreground lets the image down.
Maybe a little nearer to the building and a bit to the right using it as more of a lead in......
At the moment the tree midground is acting as lead inSad

As said still well exposed and a great backdrop--ClickSmile

Jeremy, Richard and Kim, Many thanks for your comments.

Excellent points made, Kim. You're right - the central tree is a little distracting in its position. And you're spot on about the distance...I would have approached the barn had it not been for the sudden appearance of the farmer on a tractor and with mower to start mowing that foreground grass!
