Stamford Water Abstract

By baclark
Hi everyone, many thanks for C&C's on yesterdays image - Bricks.

Today one from our stroll around Stamford in Lincs with friends. As you know I'm a sucker for a water abstract! This is a reflected building in a stream at the Water Meadows. Levels tweaked, no saturation used.

Worth a look large if you have time.

V2 mono which I quite like. Any and all comments gratefully received.
Barbara

Superb image Barbara, great light and beautifully taken, for me it has to be V1.

I like V1 a lot, as one can also see the underwater as distinct as possible.

Love this, my sort of shot - and a real surprise in b&w. Both distinguish relection from the riverbed but in different ways. I'm always fascinated by those intricate hard lines that appear in reflections on a certain type of ripple, I've never sorted out what causes them.

Like this and the mono really apeals. The mono approach takes the image to another abstract stage.

A super reflection image, Barbara, like both versions, but think has to be the colour one for me today.

I love the narrow lines accenting the water ripples-- either works, but this time I like the mono!

Cool reflection in the ripples. It looks like a photo that would be interesting at any angle you view it from.
