Standing proud

By Arvorphoto
Standing proud, a monument to a bygone era

The weather forecast was for a weather system to arrive late afternoon yesterday, so the plan was made for a moody shot of my local engine houses and spoil tip (yes there are two pumping engine houses, one reasonably complete and the most imposing of South Caradon mine - Holman's Shaft and the corner remains of Rule's Shaft both of which shared the chimney, the base of which remains).
It was quite breezy out on Caradon Hill so I went for a long exposure to emphasise the movement of the incoming clouds

Beautifully processed, Daryl, and I really like that toning... it's somehow chocolatey.
