Starav Reflection...

By Scottishlandscapes
..a reprocessing of this merge never used before, Ben Starav at the bottom of Glen Etive.
The very bright light in the sky was a problem while trying to keep the detail in the water.

***My sincere thanks for all the comments and special thanks for the User Awards from, Alan, Sandy, David, Malc, Jeanie, Keith, Moira & Cliff, never expected it from a second image on the same place.***

Looks to have worked out perfectly in the end.
Good things here to savour... the foreground detail especially, and I imagine clambering up to where the snow lies in those corries. And a great reflection of course.

( Re: "Withering" Heights. They were, as it happens, that particular morning.
My fingers were so cold I could hardly feel the shutter release Grin )

P.S. That wee tree looks nice. Thanks.Smile

A very fine image and composition with excellent reflections: guess this a view that precious few folk ever see given it's location.

I was out of awards yesterday Dougie ... this shot deserves one more. The clarity of the reflection on the lake and detail on the mountain is tremendous.

The colours and the light have a real feel of spring about them, Dougie. Good to see all the stones below the surface of the loch particularly on the left side balancing the land on the right hand side.
