Starling in Black and White

Many thanks for the c and c on my last upload.
I got a spare 5 minutes today to try out the new lens again, again hand held.
He/she was enjoying the sun on a TV aerial.
Had a bit of a fiddle with the original which is shown in version 2.

Definitely more charming in full colour. V2 does suit our current dark weather though. TG

Both images have their merits but V2 just shades it.

they are both very good.. I like your conversion so much that I give you my special waterlily for unusual bird photography... and v2 is a classic stunner Smile

I prefer mono version.
Think there's evidence of some noise but not so noticeable in mono.
The image is very sharp - must be a great lens and photographer!
Amazing for hand held.

An excellent capture, David, starlings have such wonderful irridescence in their plumage, which shows so much better in V.2. Carol

That's different and very eye catching in V1 but I do prefer V2.
