Starling In The Sun

By maryg
Spotted this starling on the farm road, it landed on the barbed fence , staying long enough for me to get this hot with the sun bringing out the irridescent colours in its plumage.

V2 Also spotted another starling gathering grasses from the fild. It stopped on the guttering of the cottage at the end of the farm lane where I got this shot. Then it headed acros the lane to build is nest at the top of a tree.

V2 Another starling on opposite side of the house.
