Starry Starry Night 2

By flowerpower59
Another from Wednesday night. This is taken in the same location as the previous upload, but facing the other way, so it's the other arm of the Milky Way. I've no idea if they cut the mustard, but it's great fun getting these home and seeing what you can pull out in developing.
The next thing to do is take many and stack them (I think that brings out more of the detail?), but then you need also to have a separate layer for the foreground AND have that correctly exposed. As with so many areas of photography, it takes patience and lots and lots of practice to get it right, but that's the joy of it. If it was easy, everyone and their phone would be doing it GrinWink

Great effort. You’ve summed it up in your write up above. Milky Way photography is a prolonged workflow but it’s much about the experience as well! 😊😊
Very cool! GrinGrinGrin
