I appreciate that the mono gives this more of a timeless atmosphere, Alan, and brings out the brick textures very nicely, but the colour version appeals to me more. I like the way the station master's tie echoes the colour the bench, and his raised hand, which is an important part of the work he is doing, stands out better from the background.

A timeless image! They always look good, mono gives it that time-gone-by feel Alan.

Mono for me, too many background distractions in the colour.

V1 mono for me the only thing a struggled with is the raised hand in the image it is not as strong on the eye.

That said a great candid photo, made timeless in the processing.

Spot on.

Regards.

Excellent job. B&W wins hands down. Maybe even better with a touch of sepia
Either way its a cracking timeless shot

V 2 is cute & handsome looking.
Nicely done the mono works best for me more detail to be had without the distractions in colour.
