Excellent set Trev, brings back memories of my train spotting days in the 60's.

Your set documents the Station so well, Trev, and it's the sepia ones that say so much to me: V 1's interesting with the front end of the loco displaying movement......like it a lot.

They're wonderful Trev! Nothing like a steam train ride and routing around the paraphernalia on the stations that goes with steam trains! All very well captured and presented.

The movement on the front end of v1 makes a very good image, and I like your sepia tinted olde worlde ones as well. A fine set of memorabilia, Trev.

A superb set telling their story of past glory.
The sepia is great to add to nostalgia and I especially like V4 with the old suitcase
and barrels, followed by V5 with the old books (presumably for sale) and they
are shown again in V7.

Thanks everyone for great comments and votes, just received this email to inform me that I did not win the trip to Yellowstone, copy below. Ah well keep trying.

Dear Trevor

As one of the finalists in the A Magazine international photo contest, I am writing to inform you that the two winners have now been chosen.

Unfortunately, your entries were not selected as the overall winner in the Color in the natural world category. The standard of entries was extremely high and making the final shortlist (twice) was an accomplishment in itself. You should therefore be commended for remaining in contention right until the very end.

I would like to thank you for your interest in our competition and sincerely hope that you will take part in the 2013 contest, which we plan to launch mid-way through the year. Please keep an eye on our website for details (www.akzonobel.com/amagazine).

Best of luck with all your future photographic endeavors.

Regards

Oh dear, sorry to read you didn't win, Trev Sad
A great set of nostalgic images here, however, and well suited to the sepia treatment Smile
