The first thing I noticed was the bridge the train is crossing. I would have zoomed in closer and after the locomotive had passed over the bridge.Too much foreground and left hand side doing nothing.

yes, tighter crop, with less waste on the left and bottom would have helped. It would also be good to see the tail end of the steam.
